Description: Students will be introduced to professional and artistic techniques in digital photography, as well as learn post production and photo retouching in Adobe Photoshop! Bringing their own camera to class, kids will explore composition, lighting, color, texture and mood while participating in photo shoots, field trips and hands-on activities shooting in both natural light and studio lighting. This course will explain the functions found on DSLR cameras and students will learn about aperture, depth of field, exposure, shutter speeds, ISO and more. At the end of the year, students will receive printed photo enlargements of their best work. No previous experience required, while advanced students can work at their own skill level. Students will need their own USB flash drive to save their work.
